Internships

 

 

When you train side by side with a master carpenter, you learn things no classroom can teach you: as an intern with us you will acquire unique skills to work with solid wood; in addition you will become an expert on timber, using woodwork machinery and production techniques; but more than this you will learn about standards required to make your way in our industry.

 

 

Gaining qualifications 

 

If your course requires a 'practicum' we may be able to assist. When you apply please send details about what your course requires.

 

 

Continuous assessment

 

We'll be with you every step of the way as you learn. From the moment you begin your training you'll get all the support and encouragement you need to make a success of your internship. You will be invited to an initial appraisal and given a work plan. At the end of your stay you will be given a written assessment.
