The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2017
I was delighted that my work had been acknowledged by this prestigious award, none the less, I was very nervous when I arrived in Venice for The International Yacht & Aviation Awards.
Respected by product designers, interior designers, and architects from all disciplines, these annual awards are managed by design et al with Luxe et al, and the awards ceremony this year was hosted in Hotel Cipriani Venice on Friday 19th May.
With projects submitted from all over the globe, the award organisers reported that over 10,000 verified votes were counted in the selection of the award winners.
For a cabinet maker more used to spending time in my workshop, the awards ceremony was a great opportunity to enjoy a glitzy evening at a top hotel in Venice.
Meeting the many wonderful and talented people who attended the event, ensured that the award was truly memorable.
I felt greatly surprised when my name was announced as the winner of the bespoke cabinetry award, but of course I am thrilled, and I want to thank everyone who did vote ...
