Not immediately obvious for person working with wood, but we have been supporting the work of the not for profit organisation Switzerland for the Oceans since their inception in 2016 .. I did myself act as a 'roadie' for their ten day Zürich to Monaco Cycle Ride in 2017 (with none other than Tour de France Winner Cadel Evans as one of our cyclists) .. since then I have been supporting my partner Charles Barber with all manner of activities including his concept and delivery of the Ocean Vitality Forum.
The whole story started with my business connection to the superyacht sector and also the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. When the renowned Andrew Winch Design Studio originated the London to Monaco Cycle Ride in 2016 on behalf of London based Blue Marine Foundation, Charles himself decided to join that inaugural 1,500km charity cycle ride and this became the inspiration for establishing Switzerland for the Oceans .. https://www.switzerlandfortheoceans.org
