The 400 Year Stool, so named due to its ability to be used for generations, is an award winning original designed and made by Eva Mechler. The design is inspired by the shape of a rocking horse that Eva had been sketching for her children's furniture collection. Constructed in solid wood the stool is made by hand from European Oak and finished with natural plant oils. Each 400 Year Stool is provided with a certificate of authenticity personally signed by Eva Mechler .. Eva's hand carved initials, the series number, and date of manufacture are discretely applied to the underside of the stool. This stool is offered with an optional personalisation features: your initials may be added and a choice of woods is available.
